Logo Ideas

These are some really quick ideas for a logo for a non-uni project.
I have been asked to do some ideas for a logo for a new company. It to be clean, modern and fresh. The company deals with and sorts out complaints which is why I wanted to play with a plus and minus sign, but I'm not sure it works. I think for a buisness like this the simpler the better.

Silk Screen Workshop

I had a workshop for silk screen printing today, a 1st attempt! I really like the effect, maybe I could use it as part of my self promotion things? This last blue picture I edited in photoshop adding some text and changing the colours slightly.

This is the imagery I made for the laptop part of the game. This is one of the high risk factors (because it's rude to go through someone's personal emails!) so it will be timed. The idea is to quit all the applications so you can see the hotmail inbox which will reveal the girl's name!

Index Page

This is the imagery of the index page for our website. It was put together using a collage method and scanned in but then more things were added.

CDX

When I was doing some research for our website I went on a game on the web. It was called CDX, its about a man who has lost his memory and needs to find out where/who he is. I liked how interactive the game was, you chose where he looked for information and even how he spoke to someone on a telephone call.  Our game could be similar as you choose where to look for the girl's name but you also have to work it out for yourself.

Illustration Style

The audience range for our game is going to be from late teens to mid-twenties so we decided that this needed to be reflected in our imagery and design. We have been thinking about Pop Art and perhaps some linear, almost comic book imagery as this seems right for our audience.
This is a page from my sketch book when I was experimenting with line and looking at one of Roy Lichtenstein's Pieces.
I also liked the idea of David Hockney's photograph montages as they show a really good feeling of space and 3D.  Below I have experimented by taking photographs of my room in a Hockney style.

Worst Case Scenario

Our first project this term is all about 'Interactive Design'.  As a group we chose to look at the 'Worst Case Scenario' Books which give advise about weird and wonderful situations you might find yourself in and how to get out of them.  We are concentrating on one of these situations...
How to survive if you wake up next to someone whose name you don't remember!
We want to make a game which is linked to the original Worst Case Scenario website so you can read the advise from the website but also learn from the game.  The original website Worst Case Scenarios doesn't seem particularly user friendly and fun, which we want to change as the advise given on is very 'tongue in cheek'.
